In 2012, the contract that the musicians thought they had agreed to was reneged upon at the eleventh hour and a new WAC-approved contract put before them. Refusing to accept what appeared to be a bait-and-switch, the musicians were summarily locked out of their hall ... made to wait like children in detention, until they came to their senses.
Given that history -- which ASO management is currently attempting to re-write in the press -- it should come as no surprise to anyone that the musicians have serious and lingering trust issues with their management ...
